People we know and hang out with, by choice and not (although of course we like them all). Events, gatherings, and just random shots — either way, most of the non-kid pictures we've taken are likely to get filed under here.

Sometimes we go places. Highlights include India/Bangladesh and the Pacific Northwest.

Mostly the pictures we save are of people, because, hey, people are the most interesting. But sometimes we take pictures of cats. And of creative projects. And of other stuff. So here's all that.

In the spring of 1996, Matthew got a Casio QV-10A, one of the very first consumer-level digital cameras. Despite its terrible (megapixels? ha!) resolution, it was a great little toy, with some wonderful features like a rotating lens and and room for 96 tiny pictures on its 2MB of internal memory. So, I took a lot of pictures, many of which you will find here. Everything's from 1996 to 1998 or so.

Unfortunately, at some point, the files were stored with an ancient version of pkzip, and they lost their long descriptive filenames. Someday I might get around to renaming/commenting better. But probably I won't.
